4. Operation

Steps for ServoMax Operation

(a) Select the ServoMax, connect the cables, apply power, and prepare for program operation.

(b) After checking the kVaser connection, activate Channel A or B to be used for communication with the servo.

(c) Load the DBC File.

(d) Click the Run button and operate the servo according to its intended use.

How to Operate ServoMax

(a) Connect ServoMax and apply power. Once connected, click the RUN button. The Response Messages will stream into the table in real-time, and the 'POS_CMD_ECHO' and 'POS_ACTUAL' items will be automatically graphed in the CHART, as shown in the image below.

(b) In the Command Signal section, you can operate ServoMax by selecting the Type of POS_CMD item:

(1) Constant Mode: Operate by adjusting the Amplitude [degree] value.

(2) Sine or Square Mode: Operate by adjusting the Amplitude [degree] and Frequency [Hz] values.
